About Us
Kelly has been in and around the home building trade for 18 years. Together with his family, he started Ridgeview Homes in 2010, which has since gained a reputation for quality craftsmanship and a hard work ethic – values instilled from his Mennonite and German heritage.
Steel Piles instead of Cinder Blocks
We are the only RTM builder in Manitoba and Saskatchewan that builds on steel piles instead of cinder blocks. A typical RTM builder has their beams set on pads and cinder blocks. We have invested time and money to build your house on steel piles. This means your house is built straight and stays straight no matter the weather or the season.
Our Advantage
We are passionate about the houses we build but most importantly, we care about the people who own them. Our RTM yard is Kelly’s yard and the boardroom table doubles as a dining table.
With Ridgeview Homes there are no pressure sales, just coffee and cookies – but no cookie cutter houses.

Our location and topography presented many challenges, but we trusted Kelly to navigate them, and he did so with expertise, good humour, and superb sub-contractors, equipment operators, and tradespeople. We were often on site (maybe too much!?) and were able to meet all the awesome people who worked on our home. We were extremely impressed with the work ethic….the young foundation/framer/siding guys, the drillers and “rock chucker” who all worked from dawn to beyond dusk in the bugs and heat, the cabinet, flooring, tile, drywall, heat and plumbing, insulation, deck, painting, and electrical people who often worked in the cold and dark, as well as reps at Wm. Dyck, all fabulous people who went above and beyond to help us achieve our dream.
